Dog Daycare & Group Play

Dog daycare at The Ruff House Stay & Play Greenbrier is the place for active dogs.

Available Monday through Saturday, our structured daycare program is designed for dogs who love to play, socialize, and stay active in a safe, supervised environment. Our custom play groups are matched by size and temperament, ensuring a fun and safe experience for every guest, while more than 13,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play yards allow guests ample room to run, romp, and relax.

Daily activities keep dogs mentally and physically engaged while our special Enrichment Club Sessions add puzzle toys, scent games, agility fun, and one-on-one attention to the mix.

A Temperament Test (including touch, crate, and gradual socialization assessment) is required for all daycare guests to ensure safe, stress-free group play with tailored care recommendations.

Boarding

Whether your pet is staying for a weekend or a longer getaway, our Greenbrier boarding services offer safe, comfortable amenities tailored to your pet’s needs. Upgrade to a luxury stateroom for perks like private potty breaks, calming music, and “tuck-in” treats, or add a grooming or training enrichment session to round out your pet’s experience.

Standard Canine Boarding

Guests stay in climate-controlled, spacious indoor enclosures featuring comfy bedding, food (dry provided at no cost, wet food option available for $3/meal), and fresh water, along with plenty of attention from our amazing staff.

Luxury Staterooms

Our luxury “staterooms” are named after the ships, stations, and units where our family—former naval officers—proudly served. All staterooms feature raised Kuranda beds, soft lighting, and relaxing bio-acoustic music. Private potty breaks throughout the day and a “tuck-in” treat at bedtime provide a bit of extra pampering.

Feline Boarding

Our spacious cattery offers multi-level luxury townhouses, as well as open kitty condos, to accommodate feline friends. Comfortable bedding, natural pine litter, and soothing bio-acounstic music create a serene environment, while window perches, climbing and scratching trees, and various other enrichment items optimize relaxation.

Exotic Animal Boarding

Love little critters? So do we! “Exotic” animals are welcome, and we accept ferrets, rabbits, rats, hamsters, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, gerbils, and mice. Please note: some animals may require a cage and supplies provided from home to ensure optimum comfort during their stay.

Our signature Train & Play program blends structured training with supervised play or enrichment for the ultimate day training experience. Weekly Group Classes offer flexible training options to meet you and your dog where you are. From puppy classes focused on early socialization to Beginner and Intermediate courses building on obedience and impulse control, we work with dogs at every stage and provide personalized recommendations following a free training evaluation.

Grooming Services

Our grooming salon at Greenbrier keeps your pet clean and comfortable while looking their very best. We offer baths, brush-outs, nail trims, and ear cleaning. Specialty add-ons include teeth brushing, de-shedding treatments, anal gland expression, and medicated baths. Baths are discounted when paired with boarding—so your pet can go home feeling fresh after their stay. All grooming is done in a calm, stress-free environment by experienced professionals.
