Temperament Testing
To maintain a harmonious environment, ALL guests to The Ruff House Stay & Play must undergo a Temperament Test before joining daycare.
Your dog’s assessment includes:
- Touch Test: Evaluating comfort with handling of back, tail, and feet.
- Crate Test: Assessing response to crate time used for “cool-downs.”
- Group Introduction: A gradual introduction to other dogs, observing body language and interactions.
PLEASE NOTE: Temperament Tests are available Monday through Thursday by appointment. Tests are provided for a one-time fee of $45 (Greenbrier) and $38 (Bayside). Fees are non-refundable and due at the time of reservation. We recommend you plan for your dog to stay at least 4 hours for a comprehensive assessment.

We want your dog to have the best experience possible. To ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, we require dogs receive the following:
Daycare Schedule & Pricing
Full Day (Over 5 hours)
- Greenbrier: $42
- Bayside: $36
Half Day (5 hours or less)
- Greenbrier: $33
- Bayside: $30
Day Boarding
Day boarding offers an alternative for dogs who don’t do well in a group environment and are working on continued socialization.
The cost is $30 (full day) and $19 (half day) at Bayside and $38 (full day) and $30 (half day) at Greenbrier per day and includes one playtime and individual potty breaks.
Packages
Both of our locations offer 5-day, 15-day, and monthly unlimited packages for daycare and day boarding. All packages are valid for 180 days from purchase.

Train & Play
For optimal results, guests at Greenbrier can pair the benefits of their visit with personalized 30-minute day training sessions. Based on an initial consultation, your dog will receive individual training sessions, focusing on obedience and behavior.
